December 2025 SEO Monthly Performance Report

December closed out the year with strong momentum and excellent stability across Climate Works’ core keyword set. Rankings across heating, plumbing, and commercial HVAC continue to hold firmly in the top 10, with many priority keywords maintaining first-page visibility against aggressive local competition.

A major focus this month was content expansion and internal linking. We published multiple high-intent winter blog posts aligned with real homeowner search behavior and strategically connected them to existing service pages and supporting content. This strengthens topical authority, improves crawl paths, and reinforces priority revenue-driving pages.

Technical SEO remains perfectly maintained at 100%, with no regressions, no crawl errors, and consistent site speed well within Google’s recommended thresholds. This allows us to continue scaling content confidently without technical drag.

Keyword Performers

We’re holding steady with an average ranking position of 15 across several important HVAC search terms. Keywords like “ottawa hvac companies” and “ottawa hvac” continue to perform well, maintaining strong visibility in competitive local search results. Informational queries such as “furnace vents outside” and “duct cleaning scam” are also remaining stable or trending upward, reinforcing Climate Works’ authority in homeowner education and trust-based content. Overall, rankings are consistent month over month, providing a solid foundation for incremental gains as content ages and internal linking continues to strengthen.

Technical SEO

Technical SEO remains fully optimized and actively maintained:

  • Clean indexation and crawlability

  • No Core Web Vitals issues

  • Fast page loads (approximately 1 second)

  • No broken links or redirect issues

  • Schema and on-page SEO scoring holding at 100/100

This consistent maintenance ensures rankings are protected while content and authority continue to grow.

Content Growth & Internal Linking Strategy

Last month, we published three new winter-focused blog posts targeting common Ontario homeowner questions:

  • How to Set Your Thermostat This Winter to Save in Ontario

  • What to Do When a Pipe Bursts in Winter (and How to Prevent It)

  • The Ultimate HVAC Winter Checklist for Ontario Homes

In addition to publishing these posts, we added multiple contextual internal links across blogs and service pages using targeted anchor text such as thermostat, furnace, and pipes. These links connect educational content to key service URLs, strengthening topical clusters and helping distribute authority more effectively throughout the site.

This internal linking work will continue to scale month over month as new content is published and older high-performing pages are refreshed.
