Report Covering October 15th – November 15th, 2025

Table of Contents

Traffic & Lead Trends (September 15 – October 15, 2025)

Your PV manager mentioned concern that leads felt quieter over the past month. Looking at the traffic chart, there was a clear dip in organic visits through late September and early October. That aligns with what I’m hearing from other trade and home-service clients across Canada – the last 4–6 weeks have been softer overall for inbound leads.

The good news is that the trend line has already started to rebound in the last two weeks of the reporting period. Organic traffic is moving back up, and your core brand terms like “power vac ottawa” and “power vac of ottawa” continue to hold the top position. With rankings improving and traffic recovering, you’re well positioned to benefit as demand normalizes again.

Site Speed and Technical SEO Audit

From a technical SEO standpoint, things remain in excellent shape. Your technical/on-page SEO score is again at 100/100, with only one minor issue flagged across 128 crawled pages. Site speed, metadata, header structure, and internal linking are all in the “green” zone.

This strong technical base means there are no obvious bottlenecks preventing you from ranking or converting visitors. It also lets us focus the next phase of work on content, backlinks, and UX rather than chasing down technical problems.

Next Steps and Strategies

Looking ahead, the priorities for the next period will be:

More authority-building backlinks from Climate Works and other relevant partners
We’ll continue to create and update blog posts on Climate Works that cover duct cleaning, indoor air quality, pets, asthma, and related topics, and selectively link back to key Power Vac pages. The goal is to further establish Power Vac as a leading authority on duct cleaning in Eastern Ontario.

Ongoing blog content that answers real homeowner questions
We’ll keep building out helpful, conversational blog posts around search intent we’re seeing in the data: “signs you need duct cleaning,” “asthma and indoor air quality,” “pet owners and duct cleaning,” “DIY vs professional,” etc. This strengthens your topical coverage and captures long-tail searches that often convert well.

User experience and homepage refresh (optional but recommended)
It may be worth considering a light facelift for the homepage. The current darker appearance may not be as inviting as it could be and might be contributing to quicker bounces for first-time visitors. A slightly brighter, more modern layout with clearer calls to action could help ensure that the traffic you’re earning sticks around and converts into calls and quote requests.

Context for the slower month
As we discussed, the quieter lead volume in the past month isn’t unique to Power Vac. I’m hearing similar feedback from HVAC, plumbing, and trades clients across Canada. The key point is that, despite that slowdown, your rankings and technical metrics continue to move in the right direction, and traffic has already started to rebound in the last two weeks. The work we’re doing now sets you up to capture more of that demand as it comes back.
