September focused on strengthening Climate Works’ organic visibility through a mix of technical SEO, internal linking, content support, and keyword optimization. We continued building stronger connections between important service pages and supporting articles, expanded visibility around duct cleaning, furnaces, flood remediation, heat pumps, and air conditioning, and maintained a very strong technical SEO foundation with the site audit scoring 99/100. Several important keywords also moved closer to page one, including strong gains across the duct-cleaning and HVAC service clusters.

September saw some overall volatility in Climate Works’ tracked rankings, with the average position moving from 7.44 to 10.89. Of the 210 tracked keywords, 23 improved, 54 declined and 133 remained unchanged. Despite the broader movement, several high-value service terms are sitting just outside the first page and continue to show good potential for further gains.

We continued to maintain a very strong technical foundation, with a 99/100 on-page SEO score in the latest audit. The crawl reviewed 156 pages, with 150 returning successfully, 6 redirects, and no broken or blocked pages detected. The audit identified only 9 minor SEO issues, mainly title tags that are slightly too short or too long and two URLs that could be formatted more cleanly for SEO. Overall, there are no major technical problems affecting crawlability or indexing, and the site remains in excellent condition for continued SEO and AEO growth.

Next Steps & Ongoing Strategy
Next month, we’ll continue building on these gains by strengthening internal links around the service keywords that are already close to page one, particularly furnace services, duct cleaning, flood remediation, heat pumps, and air conditioning. We’ll also continue technical SEO cleanup, expand AEO-focused content and structured data where appropriate, and put more emphasis on Google Business Profile optimization and local search signals to help Climate Works stay competitive as Google continues introducing more AI-driven search results.
We would also like to create the Toronto sister site of Climate Works. We have a prototype in place and it would be good to give that division some exposure and start creating it’s SEO footprint.
